It’s about 450 kilometerslong, up to 29 kilometers wide, and about1,900 meters deep. The canyon’s size andbeauty are truly awe-inspiring.The Colorado River divides the canyon intotwo main areas. They’re called the South Rimand the North Rim. Most visitors see the canyonfrom the South Rim.I also recommend Grand Canyon West. It’sabout two and a half hours by car from LasVegas, so it’s easy to get to.One attraction is the Sky Walk. It’s a platform21 meters long and 1,200 meters above thecanyon floor. The Sky Walk is made of glass,so you can see straight down.
